Mt Buffalo National Park

Sheer cliffs, huge granite walls, waterfalls and impressive views make Mt Buffalo National Park a must see.

Driving along the Hume Hwy you get your first taste of the scale of Mount Buffalo. Edging closer along the Great Alpine Road you can really start to take in the magnificence of the ‘island in the sky’.

Snow hugs the top of Mt Buffalo during the winter months and it is the perfect place for a day of family snow play. A mountain for any season with hiking, road cycling, swimming in Lake Catani during the warmer months and views that go on and on. Check out the amazing view from The Horn, the highest point of Mt Buffalo, standing at 1723m above sea level.
